Kimba only works with a dedicated supply chain audited and certified by GOTs and FLO Fairtrade
All of our garments are made by our trusted Fairtrade cooperative in India, certified by the FLO Fairtrade Foundation. From Fairtrade cotton farms where the seed is grown, to the end garment-making process, these standards are audited to ensure workers get their fair share, set by the FLO Fairtrade.
We will be documenting our visit to the cotton farmers and mills this January 2020, look out for our story on Instagram!
Our cotton is completely Organic (as well as Fairtrade), certified by the main governing body GOTs.
Kimba only works with a dedicated supply chain in India, audited and certified by GOTs and FLO Fairtrade that is completely transparent from seed to garment.
Our suppliers use eco-friendly dyeing methods through a ‘Zero Liquid Discharge’ system with the goal of reducing wastewater, producing clean water that is suitable for reuse.
Our suppliers ensure a respect for the environment is considered throughout the manufacturing process, using eco-friendly processes and sustainable production.
Workers are paid a living wage (above the minimum wage set by the government) and have access to a worker friendly environment. Our supplier chain offers welfare plans to employees and take care of their team.
We will only ever use Fairtrade and Organic materials and promote the importance of a fair existence to economically disadvantaged individuals. We encourage a Buy Less mentality and Slow Fashion ethos.
